EFLA Aims

works to:

* build democratic institutions in Liberia;

* develop Liberia’s economy;

* support for national development priorities;

* empower Liberians;

* raise awareness about new practices, carry out vital services, or address areas that have not been the focus in existing domestic practice;

* provide the visionary guidance to the youth on further embracing peaceful means to Liberia’s building;

* engage highly qualified Liberians and Friends of Liberia academics and experts abroad in the domestic education, health and other sectors;

* strengthen GOL (Government of Liberia) ability to engage its Diaspora in the reconstruction and development process;

* create a forum for dialogue with GOL on the practical, efficient and cost-effective ways to impact the Liberian economy.

A stronger relationship between European Liberian Diaspora and GOL is therefore appropriate and urgent.
